RADIOLOGY
The field of Radio-Diagnosis plays a very impartment role in the Diagnosis and management of patients.
This department in well equipped with latest diagnostic equipments like 1.5 Tesla M.R.I Multislice CT ,high resolution ultrasound with color Doppler, Digital Radiography, Mammography, conventional radiology with I.I.T.V., and special procedures.
Philips Achieva 1.5 Tesla MRI was first of its kind installed in North Karnataka region. All functional MR.’s- MR Spectroscopy

MRCP
MR Angiography – Arterial
Venous ,CPS – Protocol are possible on this equipment
Mission / Vision
The Department is well equipped with staff, clinical material and diagnostic modalities to train basics for under graduate student as well as advanced teaching for post graduate students,
Regular didactic theory classes and clinical Radiology classes are conducted for under graduate students.
Apart from that teaching of under-graduates is done in the form of demonstration of both normal and Pathological conditions on – Ultrasonography,
Computed Tomography Magnetic Resonance Imaging Special Investigations etc.
